#13 Lakeview
April 8, 2013 by Mary Daly

It is a long drive over the Willamette Pass and Southern Oregon to reach Lakeview; "the tallest town in Oregon" at an elevation of 4801 feet.  The Tooth Taxi treated students from Hay Elementary and from Fremont Elementary located just across the street.  Other students in the district were transported from Union Elementary and Middle and High School students from Lakeview.  It's a compressed week when the Tooth Taxi travels long distances to the outer reaches of the state; but the scenery is gorgeous!

Principal Cahill ordered staff a meal at the school cafeteria, a fan favorite that day – mashed potatoes and ground beef gravy with chocolate milk and peaches.
