#9 Capitol Steps – Salem

The Tooth Taxi joined the ODA Dental Day at the Capitol on Wednesday February 27th. Students from the Salem Boys & Girls Club dental clinic were transported to the Capitol for treatment on the Tooth Taxi.

Several Tooth Taxi supporters and sponsors visited. The Tooth Taxi also drew attention from passers-by and
received inquiries about care for children and for adults.



Volunteers:
Former Tooth Taxi dentist Dr. Jennifer McLeod and assistant, Amber VanWinkle volunteered on the van.

Other notes:
91% of students screened needed treatment
9% needed no treatment.

•  0 students received oral hygiene education in the classroom
•  11 appointments in the van
•  $5,247 value of free dental services provided.
