|#21 Portland – Rigler Elementary 2012
|MAY, 21 2012 By MARY DALY
Rigler Elementary in NE Portland participates in Portland Public Schools VIDA program, receiving vision, dental and audiometric services for their students. VIDA helps students to succeed in school by addressing basic health services. The Tooth Taxi will be visiting other VIDA schools in the 2012-2013 school year. Rigler school has a very diverse population and over 500 students in K-6. Students wear school uniforms, something we don't see very often at public schools.
Welcome to new Tooth Taxi assistant Andrea Ricter, RDH. Andrea hails from Minnesota and has a degree from the University of Minnesota; she felt right at home when we spotted this map in the school hallway.
